Our Creative Warrior program recognizes our colleagues who stare fear in the eye and come up with ideas that make heads turn.
“Great ideas don’t come from our comfort zones,” said Eva LaMere, president of Austin Williams. “Our creative warriors exhibit that spirit of wanting to try something new, catch people’s attention or defy the conventional wisdom of ‘we’ve always done it that way.’”
Recently, we recognized two more of our colleagues with the Creative Warrior award—that includes ownership of the warrior-like shield emblazoned with key phrases that embody the spirit of creativity.
Account Supervisor Lindsay Calvo was recognized for her never-say-die initiative and eagerness to take on new responsibilities to support the Agency and our clients. If that isn’t enough, she’s even assumed the role of mentor, supporting her new colleagues and their success. Her nominators said, “Lindsay lives AW’s manifesto through her willingness to roll up her sleeves to help get done whatever needs to get done. And she does so with complete confidence and a smile on her face to ensure you that you’re in good hands.”
Marianne Naleski is an SEO and content marketing specialist, but that doesn’t fully capture the enormity of her contributions to the Agency. Her nominators describe her as “the Swiss army knife of AW,” noting her enthusiastic involvement in account management, email marketing, wireframing and UX, blog writing and even the culture and social media committees! Her nominators added that Marianne “never waits for someone else to tell her what her next task is: You know she’ll be proactive in finding the next big opportunity or suggesting a new project for the Agency and our clients.”
