Associate Copywriter

Austin Williams is looking for a talented copywriter to join our marketing agency team and help us create bold, strategic, and persuasive messages across digital and traditional media for our clients. We specialize in three key verticals: healthcare, financial services, and higher education, but we have clients in other categories. If you’re a writer who can manage and execute multiple assignments, prioritize workload across various clients, and meet deadlines, we want you to apply!



►   Conceive and execute messaging that delivers against creative and strategic briefs while collaborating with creative team members:

  • Write short- and long-form copy for all media platforms
  • Adapt messaging across digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Develop clear, concise, convincing, and accurate messaging
  • Manage multiple assignments and prioritize work across distinct clients and channels

►   Work with the content director to foster innovative solutions and professional growth:

  • Immerse and learn all there is to know about the client’s brand and business
  • Use Agency project management software to coordinate workflow
  • Comply with client brand guidelines and agency quality standards
  • Build relationships at the appropriate client level


►     Possess strong all-around communication skills from the written word to internal team and client presentations:

  • Understand and connect with a target audience’s needs, emotions, challenges, and desires
  • Receive and incorporate client feedback on drafts into clear instructions for the studio, digital team, or another colleague to complete.


►     Three years of copywriting experience:

  • Agency experience preferred

►     Experience in at least one of our key verticals:

  • Healthcare, higher education, and financial services

►     Paid digital and website content creation experience (beyond blogs).

►     Resourcefulness and honed decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.

►     Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time while meeting deadlines.



►     A desire to stay updated with the latest digital marketing and advertising trends and emerging technologies.

►     Be a curious learner who desires to research and explore new topics and industries.

►     Manifest a can-do attitude.

►     Be polite and respectful, always.

►     Be a team player.

►     Be able to learn from mistakes quickly.
