Any bucket list items?

I’ve always wanted to play in the WSOP (World Series of Poker) main event. I think just going and playing in it would be a huge win. Of course, there’s money to be won, and I’d go for it, but it would just be cool to be there Day One.


When you were 10 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Hmm. Fireman/geologist/veterinarian? That’s a thing, right? No?


If you had to switch AW teams for one week, which department would you work in?

Hands down, creative/art. My career has certainly been more focused on digital and numerics, but I like to think I have a pretty keen eye for design and aesthetic. To sit down and brainstorm a campaign angle or creative aspects, like color, messaging, etc. would just be… fun. And then I could see how the dots connect on the digital side of things, which I think would make things a little easier.


What inspires you?

Well, I’m about to be a father for the second time. That inspires me every day, as does my beautiful wife, Alyssa. She keeps me grounded, while I’m a bit more of a “pie in the sky” kind of person. I’m just incredibly lucky, all in all. To not be inspired by that, and to not go after what I want and be appreciative of it, would just be crazy.


Weirdest thing on my desk?

A figurine of Mr. Incredible (from the movie The Incredibles), given to me by an ex-coworker on the day they left. The particular person was a real grumpy one, but they left and gave it to me and said, “it should be on your desk.” I don’t know exactly what that means, but it’s something that always brings back memories.
