When you were 10 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A marketing executive on Madison Ave.
Any bucket list items?
Travel to Europe, get a farm so we can have more dogs, go on a honeymoon with Kerry, learn to become a luthier, and many others…
What makes a great brand?
Authenticity, consistency, and purpose. The strongest brands know who they are, who they’re talking to, and how to create emotional connections that stick with their audiences.
What inspires you?
Kindness. Seeing people genuinely smile. Seeing others share kindness. Finding ways to make people laugh and enjoy their day, whether it be through marketing or just being a good person.
What’s the weirdest thing on your desk?
Technically, I AM the weirdest thing on my desk, but in terms of tangible non-human items, a “hole punch” that takes used gift cards or plastic of that thickness and turns them into guitar picks.
What real or fictional person would you go on a road trip with?
I can’t narrow it down to one, so I would take a van with: my daughter, Elaina (she passed away in 2016), so I could hear her and see her laugh one more time, Syd Barrett, Ryan Reynolds, and 100% my wife, because she’s the best road-trip copilot.
