When AW account director Dara isn’t creating chocolate-covered confections, she’s finding the sweet spot for AW’s clients—coordinating campaigns that are on-brand, on-target, and on-time.

 

Any bucket list items?

Travel, travel, and more travel. I would love to visit Italy and Greece.

 

Any hidden talents?

I am a chocolatier in my spare time. I have a passion for making chocolate treats. From chocolate-covered Oreos and pretzels to hot cocoa bombs and cake pops, the sky is the limit. Not only is making chocolate a cathartic experience for me, but I also get to express my creative side and bring new ideas to life. Still, the most fulfilling part is seeing the smiles it brings to people when they taste and enjoy what I’ve created.

 

If you had to switch AW teams for one week, which department would you work in?

The studio team. I have always been fascinated by how advertising campaigns come together. Being a complete and total novice in creative design, I think it would be fun to experience what it’s like to be in their shoes. Joining that team would take me out of my comfort zone and allow me to see all that goes into creating a memorable and successful campaign.

 

What do you like about working at an agency?

Every day is different, so it keeps you on your toes. I guess you could say working at an agency is “like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.” 😉
