Whether it’s traveling to exotic locales or learning about different industries to deliver stronger results for clients, assistant account executive Kate is always looking to broaden her perspective.
What do you like about working at an agency?
The opportunity to learn is endless. It is really important to me to continue to expand my knowledge, professionally and personally, and with our variety of clients and projects, I always have the chance to flex my brain muscles.
Any bucket list items?
Traveling is one of my favorite things to do, so I am always researching new places to visit. I recently traveled the up the Pacific Coast Highway in California, and would love to do something similar along the east coast of Australia.
If you had to switch AW teams for one week, which department would you work in?
I’d love to work with the creative team for a week. In the past, I’ve worked to create social media posts and flyers in Photoshop, and love playing around with layering patterns, images and fonts together to create something beautiful. For fun, I also like messing around in iMovie and making shorter videos for platforms like TikTok.
Any hidden talents?
To the people who know me, it’s not exactly hidden, but I love to bake and have perfected making scones. Bread and cookies are also favorites. Basically, I’ll always take the time to make something from scratch that could easily have been bought from the store, because I think that homemade is always better!
What’s your go-to happy hour order?
If there’s a hard kombucha or a cider, I’m in.
