When you were 10 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A rock star. It was the early days of MTV and I was locked in.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
When your determination changes, every cell in your body will orient itself to that goal in mind. If you think you can’t do it, you won’t. Stay determined and focused on your goal, no matter the obstacles thrown at you.
What aspect of your job are people are always surprised to find out?
Data analysis takes creativity. You have to be willing to look at the number from every angle to find the story. Then you have to find the best way to present them in order to provide the most value to the audience. This takes creativity. The numbers don’t write themselves.
What do you like about working at an agency?
It’s a very dynamic environment. We’re servicing many clients and industries at one time and nothing is ever the same. There is always something new to learn or a new story to tell.
