Any bucket list items?
I have a few, but one that really sticks out is to travel to South Africa and do a safari trip. I have been lucky enough to check off some items in the past few years, but this trip would be absolutely incredible.
What is your favorite thing about advertising?
The end result, hands down. You work so hard with your team and the client to come up with these amazing campaigns. From the concept development and creative and copywriting to the account work, it’s all a very exciting process. To see that campaign on TV, or in a newspaper or to hear someone say, “Oh yeah, I saw that!” makes it worth all the hard work.
What’s your favorite part of being an account executive?
The first thing is the relationships that I build with my clients. They become extended family members. You get to know about their life outside of work and ultimately create a unique bond with them. The second is being lucky enough to be involved in ALL aspects of the agency. I get to work with strategy, creative, media, production and financing every single day!
Name your top five desert island movies.
Dirty Dancing, Bridesmaids, Animal House, Step Brothers and Rocky 4! VERY specific – it must be Rocky 4. The workout scene gets me every time!
What real or fictional person would you go on a road trip with?
I would love to go on a road trip with either Marilyn Monroe or Lucille Ball. Lucille Ball, I am just obsessed with and I think she would make me laugh, but Marilyn Monroe would be so interesting to talk to. I find her entire life incredibly fascinating.
