Our Creative Warrior program recognizes our colleagues who stare fear in the eye and come up with ideas that make heads turn.
“Great ideas don’t come from our comfort zones,” said Eva LaMere, president of Austin Williams. “Our creative warriors exhibit that spirit of wanting to try something new, catch people’s attention or defy the conventional wisdom of ‘we’ve always done it that way.’”
Recently, we recognized two more of our colleagues with the Creative Warrior award—that includes ownership of the warrior-like shield emblazoned with key phrases that embody the spirit of creativity.
Nick Gaffney, senior paid search strategist, was recognized for his dynamic creative abilities by a colleague who said, “Not only is Nick skilled about what he does, but he’s a chameleon across departments.” In addition to being AW’s senior paid search strategist, Nick writes copy, builds reports, and even manages accounts—and he does it exceptionally well.
Kim Plummer, senior copywriter, has gone above and beyond her role to improve various parts of the agency. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and in addition to sharing great ideas, she acts on them! In the words of one of her nominators, “Her take-charge, get-it-done, and can-do attitude make her a great team player.”
We award a new Creative Warrior regularly—check back for more soon!
