Austin Williams Wins Top Accolades in 2019 Healthcare Advertising Awards

Hauppauge, NY (June 4, 2019) – Marketing, advertising, and public relations agency Austin Williams today announced it won multiple awards, including Best of Show, for its work on behalf of its clients Stony Brook Medicine, TVR Communications/pCare and Gurwin Family of Healthcare Services, in the 36th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards.

Recognizing the advertising excellence from service industry providers, the awards are sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising, and strategic business development.

  • Best of Show honors for its campaign for the Stony Brook Advanced Specialty Care Center, a new multi-practice location in Commack, NY. AW also snagged a Gold for Radio Advertising, Single Spot and Digital Marketing Program, Bronze for Newspaper Advertising and Social Media, and a Merit award for Magazine Advertising Series, Total Advertising Campaign (without TV) and Integrated Marketing Campaign.

 

  • A Gold for Social Media for the Stony Brook Cancer Center, “This Changes Everything” campaign, which sets the stage for the new, multimillion-dollar facility set to open in 2019 that will serve the Long Island and Northeast regional markets.

 

  • A Gold for Imprinted Materials and Website for the pCare “Reimagining the Way Healthcare Connects” campaign, which showcases how the interactive patient experience solutions partner helps healthcare providers engage, educate and entertain patients across the care continuum. AW also took home a Silver for Logo/Letterhead Design and Merit for Integrated Marketing Campaign.

 

  • A Gold for Poster and Digital Marketing for the Gurwin Family of Healthcare Services “Stamp of Approval” campaign, which promotes the senior care provider’s programs as the answer to the question, “If it were your mother, what would you do?” AW also took home a Silver for PR Program, Bronze for Newspaper Advertising Series and Merit for Television Advertising Series.

More than 4,000 entries were received, making this year’s awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition and one of the 10 largest of all advertising awards.
