Austin Williams Hires Business Development Executive
Leading advertising, branding and digital marketing agency Austin Williams has hired Peter J. Spalding as vice president, growth initiatives to develop new business opportunities across the agency’s defined vertical markets of financial services, healthcare, professional services and higher education on Long Island, in the greater New York City area and nationally. “Pete’s talents will formalize our organic business development efforts and open new doors to allow us to grow even further,” said Eva LaMere, president of Austin Williams. “His long and successful track record, especially in the financial and professional services worlds, will allow us to tap into everything that is going on in the marketplace and position us for strength as we define the new Austin Williams.” Pete joins Austin Williams from Spark 451 with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Having worked with companies of all sizes from the Fortune 100 to nonprofit institutions, Pete was responsible for both new business development and project management. Some of his former clients include S&P Global, the NBA, BNB, NYU Stern School of Business, the Archdiocese of New York as well as the City University of New York. He is a graduate of St. John’s University College of Business Administration with a BS in marketing. “Driving new business doesn’t stop after the first meeting—it’s about working with clients through every stage of the campaign—from driving lead generation to implementing creative solutions,” said Spalding. “I’m looking forward to being part of this creative and strategic team.” Pete lives in East Northport with his family.
